Ready to Race Get a Cockpit

Last weekend was the 4th round of the Virtual Le Mans Series with the 4 hours of Suzuka. After some technical problems during last's race which resulted in an unfortunate DNF, our team reached this time an unexpected result.

It was time for Alex Bräutigam's first appearance in this season and he was able to put the car on P3 in qualification.

After the start he made up one position and was running 2nd behind the 1Aco car.

It was a great fight between them, but unfortunately an LM-P2 crashed into the GT leader. Alex was able to gain second by second to the persecutors. He was lucky to serve his first stop under code 80 and continued his good run in his 2nd stint.

After 2 hours it was time for Alexey Zagorodnev, who had to step in for Boris Vaholsky due to a last minute commitment.
Alexey was very cautious and could manage a big gap of 1 minute to the 2nd place car. It's not easy for a rookie to take over a car in the lead, but he was able to withstand the pressure and brought the car home on P1.
A really surprisingly result for our team! Congratulations to Alex Bräutigam and especially to Alexey Zagorodnev for the first win in this season!

We don't want to forget Boris, who has also a stake on this win. We have gained a couple of spots in the standing and our team is really motivated for the next race, the 4 hours of Interlagos, 3rd of February.

Congratulations to Witchwood and CORE Team, for finishing on a podium spot in LM-GT. Also a big congratulations to 1Aco for winning the LM-P2 class and to 3wide Motorsport & SimTech Motorsport.
