Ready to Race Get a Cockpit

Last weekend was the 6th round of the Virtual Le Mans Series and it took place on the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
It was a hard race under wet conditions. Alex Bräutigam who did his first appearance in our LM-P2 #106, puts the car on a great 2nd place in qualifying. The start (still dry track) went good, but in the 2nd lap he got hit by 3rd placed car and got significant suspension damage. After 20 minutes it started to rain quite heavily and the team was forced to repair the damage of 180 seconds during the first pitstop.

After 2 hours he handed over the car to Tomasz Luty, who did a solid job in his first race of the season. Despite this very demanding conditions, he brought the car home and the team finished the race on P10, the best result of the season.

Our GT #181 had to serve four 60 seconds stop and hold penalties, so their target was just to finish the race and to get as many points as possible. Bryce Louw did the start and the first two hours. After the penalties he was last, but due to a safe and consistent drive he could gain some positions.
Then he handed over the car to Harald Bachmann, who continued the controlled drive and brought the car home on 7th place. For the team it was more a damage limitation and they are still 2nd in the championship standings!

Now it's time to focus on the season highlight in 4 weeks, the 12 hours of Le Mans! Good luck to our drivers.
