Last Tuesday was the 9th round of the GT Pro Series powered by Simracing United and it took place on the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria.

After a strong race at Le Mans, our team was able to continue the run of success stories. It started with a great qualifying where our new driver Maximilian Schieder reached pole position alongside Mike Horn.
Both drivers have worked really well together during the first half of the race, in order to build up a gap to

the following cars.

It was an impressive performance by Max, who was able to secure the win in his first race and also by Mike, who has had amazing pace especially with his 50kg success ballast. He finished the race on 2nd place and secures a double victory for our team.

Alex Bräutigam hasn't had a satisfied qualy session (started from P8) and struggled a bit with his 75kg success ballast. Due to his speed disadvantage on the straights, he had barely any chance to gain more positions. He tried everything, especially against the guys from Team Kappeler Simracing. It was a great three-way fight and in the end he finished on P6.

James Duku just missed the top 10 (finished on P12), but was able to gain some spots and showed again consistent and competitive pace. Marius Nicolae had an unfortunate spin in the 2nd lap, which puts him into the last place. He fought his way up and finished on P14. Bernd Schmidt who was affected by a stop and hold penalty, has tried a different strategy but had no chance to get a better position than P21.

Congratulations to the whole team for this strong performance. Now it's time for the mountain. We wish our drivers good luck for the next race on the legendary Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst on 19th of September.
