Ready to Race Get a Cockpit

Last Monday was time for the seventh round of the DSTM with race 13 and 14 at Monza. Unfortunate Patrick wasn’t able to race here, cause he was getting ill, get well soon. So it was time for Conny and Bernd to hold the BHR flag high today, which wouldn’t be that easy with the Ferrari here on the home track of the Scuderia. After the Qualifying It showed that it will come as it was expected, Bernd started from P22 and Conny from P28. Both of them were ready for a hard midfield fight and get an good start into the 20min Sprintrace, then in lap 2, T1 Bernd got caught out by an Audi driver

and with the slightly damaged car and the places he lost, he knewed their aren’t any chances to fight for a good result in this race, Conny so far had some good and consistant laps, but he lost his car in lap 8 and hit the wall and really unfortunate he ran out of fuel in the penultimate lap, so at the end oft he first race oft he evening, Bernd finished on P23 and Conny on P33. That was also the starting positions for our drivers in the second race, with a length of 60min. This time Bernd started out of he pits, due to a penalty and Conny was able to catch some places in the early laps. Both drivers has choosen a different strategy, Conny pitted in the middle oft he race, while Bernd decided to pit with 6 laps to go, both strategys has worked for them but without a chance to grab any position at this point. So after the second race Conny finished on P19 and Bernd on P23. It was Conny’s first race here in this league and it was one of his first races in iRacing after a longer break, even the results wasn’t what he want but he had fun and enjoyed the racing here, which is a good sign that it will be better in the following races. Next up is round eight of he season in two weeks, November 27th, at Oulton Park and we hope that our drivers could get better results there and that Patrick will be back then.
