Ready to Race Get a Cockpit

Last Monday was time for the fourth round of the DSTM with race 7 and 8 at Watkins Glen Intl. Our drivers said, that the Ferrari isn't that good here at this track and also the BoP which was made on the Ferrari isn't that good in their opinion. So the Ferrari gets -14% aero downforce and +10kg minimum weight also an minor aero drag adjustment, that means the big opportunity which our drivers have had at Spa are gone and the setup they've had wasn't longer as good as they wanna have it. In the Qualifying both drivers noticed, that this will be a hard race day for them and us.

Patrick started from P20 in race one and Bernd started from P29 in race one. The first race started with a standing stard as usual and both drivers gained some positions, unfortunate Patrick's race was finished in lap one in T7, there was a bigger accident with several cars and Patrcik got bumped into his rear which ended in a huge damage on his car. Meanwhile Bernd was fighting his way through the field and made it at the end to finish the first race of the evening at P16. For the second race Bernd started then from P16 and Patrick started from P42, this time we've a flying start into the race and again both drivers had an decent start. Now it's going really fast til one of our drivers was part of an accident again in lap one, this time it was Bernd who get smashed into the wall by another driver in T3. Unfortunate his car was really broken on the left front which ended with an 23min repair stop and broke all his chances for a good finish down. Meanwhile Patrick was doing good, he decided to take an early pitstop for this race to have no cars in front of him and that paid out at the end, so Patrick finished the second race on P12 while Bernd was able to drive after his pit stop, but he only finished on P35. We and our drivers are not happy with this results and now we hope that it will be much better in two weeks at October 16th at LeMans.
